The Paprika Csárda (Paprika Wayside Inn) is located near the M1 motorway in the immediate vicinity of the border crossing in Hegyeshalom. Every day of the year we are perfectly welcome our guests in transit or those who want to have a rest in our hotel which can accommodate 500 people or in the restaurant for 500 people.

RESTAURANT

To satisfy our customers' demands, we have established a ballroom for 200 people, two business rooms for 50 and 20 people respectively and a separate non-smoking room for 40 customers in our air conditioned restaurant. Our function rooms are suitable to organize wedding receptions, business talks or even friendly get-togethers or family reunions. Music can be ordered according to your demand. Our restaurant is open from 7:00 a.m. till midnight (24:00 p.m.). Our menu includes dishes of different regions of our country and the outstanding meals of the cuisines of the world in addition to the true Hungarian tastes. The inn-keeper of our wayside inn, however, alters the dishes from time to time in accordance with the seasons.In our wine shop our dear guests can buy the excellent wines of some famous Hungarian wine growers. In our confectionery we prepare home-made pies, tasty cakes, village strudels and crunchy scones.


Our restaurant is in possession of the Table of Patronage awarded by the Hungarian National Association of Gastronomy and the European Catering Association (ECA) for its high-level performance in culinary art. Over the past years a number of domestic and foreign celebrities and public figures also paid a visit to our Csárda. The memory of their visits is cherished by the wall of celebrities erected at our reception desk which became the pride of our restaurant.
